David took his first vacation over the 4th of July. My brother-in-law's parents own a home up at the Jersey Shore and we spent the 4th of July weekend up there. The weather was gorgeous and we had a great time relaxing around the pool. We took David to the beach one day and it was too stressful for me so we didn't stay long. I was afraid it was too hot, didn't like nursing in public, and didn't want him to get sandy. I guess I'm just a paranoid mom!

OK, the last picture where he's looking at the two girls like, "Uhhh...I don't know about you two," and the girls are smiling away, made me laugh. He's a cute person. I opted out of an all-day affair at a splash park last summer, when Sam was about 3 months old, because I was too nervous about heat, nursing in public, etc., just like you. I still don't like to go to things that I know are going to interfere with nap time, but it's alot better nowadays.
