There's nothing better than enjoying fresh steamed crabs in a casual open air boat while floating down the Potomac river. That's exactly what my team did for work yesterday. We enjoyed unlimited drinks and crabs for 3 hours, but more importantly we enjoyed each other's company. I'm so lucky to be working on a team where we're all good friends and enjoy spending time with one another - inside & outside of work.
Looks like the "Jenny" boat from Forest Gump
(at least that's what we called it)

Ryan & David getting excited to eat crab

We passed by all the major monuments in Washington, DC
This is the famous Washington Memorial

Washington Memorial & the Jefferson Memorial

Washington & Lincoln Memorial

Matt & David (The Watergate is behind them)

The table is set, time to dig in.

Poor little fella

I had never eaten whole crabs before, it was quite a chore.
I don't know if the return was really worth it or not,
but it was a fun social activity

My boss Tim is on the left, then Megan & Ryan

The whole team enjoying the crab feast

A job well done!

Me, Liz, Aditi, & Megan

Rick & Tim (truly the best bosses I've ever had)

I am soooo jealous. That is one thing that I love about the east coast is exactly what you did. There is nothing better than crab on your face and butter dripping down to your elbows. Glad you had a good time!`
Im so jealous...that looks fun...you do work for an awesome team.
I HATE CRAB! My cousin forced me and his wife to de-meat more crab than anyone should ever have to de-meat. It just solidified my hatred of seafood.
Eating crab was the highlight of our summer when we lived in Maryland 2 summers ago. It was so much fun! Alot of work, kind of gross insides, but so tasty and really so much fun with friends!
Aren't you glad you live in such a beautiful place?
What a tough day of work. :)
How fun that you sew...we are going to have to talk! I'm not very good but love it!
What a fun day! I love the idea of going on a lazy boat ride and diving into some fresh crab.
