Not much going on in this neck of the woods....

I wish I had something exciting to post. I guess I'll post a journal entry of sorts, just so my blog fans will continue to check back.

Nothing exciting has happened since I posted last. I'm back to working full time, teaching piano lessons and trying to find a spare moment to spend with my husband. We got "Guitar Hero" and "Rock Band" for Christmas so we've been playing like maniacs, trying to unlock more songs. It is so addicting...hence the reason I haven't posted in so long (and the reason why my house is a wreck).

I've been trying to spend as much time as I can with my new niece Sophia. She is such a sweetheart and I can't get enough of her. As a matter of fact, Noelle and baby (that's what I call her) just went to lunch today. I hope one day I can have kids half as cute (Wait...I'll give anything just to have kids....even if they're not cute!)

That's pretty much my life! I promise to post something more exciting in the near future.

It must be the season. I haven't posted in a while either, because nothing is going on around here these days.
Your niece is adorable and I know you and Dan will have very cute and very smart kids. Don't give up!

I posted, check me out because I'm super funny.

Heck, if your babies aren't that cute, we'll trade them in for some cuter ones. Or we'll dress them in really expensive clothes and head bows, that always ups the ante on an ugly child. (don't cringe, you know it's true)

Hi Merianne!

I too have succumbed to the addictive powers of Guitar Hero. I love beating Chris (although he's getting better than me!) :(

P.S. With your genes, your kids are guaranteed to be adorable! :)

My kids play Guitar Hero WAY too much. They are getting good at it and I have heard Pat Benetar enough times this week that I want to unplug the thing! It's January...no one has anything exciting to share in January. No worries. Smile !!

Who says this isn't exciting? These are my favorite kinds of posts! FYI, your future children will be beautiful, no doubt. And I guess we are totally and completely out of the techno loop, because I have no clue what "Rock Band" or "Guitar Hero" are.....

Hi Mer, Doing laundry here. Try to beat that for excitement! I try to enjoy the slow times. They are usually better then the "exciting" times which (in my experience, at least) involves the hospital (and not in a new born baby way either). Had your mom and dad over for dinner yesterday. Good times.
