I love working for PricewaterhouseCoopers. I especially love days when I don't have to go into the office and work. Today was PwC's annual community service day and 30,000 people from all over the country joined together and participated in a service project. The Washington Metro region met at Banneker High School and did everything from weeding and pruning, to painting handrails and stacking books in the library. I was asked to help coordinate the registration desk, so I did that for the first part of the afternoon, then I helped out on the baseball field weeding and picking up trash.Monday, June 11, 2007

Mer!
This is Heidi Haslam Gasser! Hillary forwarded your blog to me and I am so glad! It is so good to see what is going on with your life. I feel like I have not seen you in years. Hill always keeps me updated as much as she can.
I have a blog as well and I am going to put you on as one of my blogger friends if you don't mind.
Check out my blog at

I will check in on your blog to check for updates!
Way to go! Nice way to spend a Monday for sure. Loving your blog Mer! Keep it up.

Hey, Mer! It was fun to find a comment from you on my blog! I love that blogging can reconnect so many of us from so many years ago. I love your blog and can't wait to read more!
YAY for the new blog! Love, love, love it.
Also, might I just say that Chris is highly addicted to Choco Tacos. He would eat one a day given the opportunity. Just the words "Choco" and "taco" bring an enormous smile to his face (and p.s. - he's older than 12, I promise). :)
