San Diego/Utah Vacation - 2011

Dan's dad turned 60 years old and his step-mom Andria set up a family vacation to San Diego, CA to celebrate his special day. We got a house on Mission Beach and were there for a week - it was pure heaven! We spent most the days at the beach, but we were also able to go to a Padres baseball game and we spent one day at the San Diego zoo. We loved every minute of being there!

My mom couldn't stand the thought of us being on the west coast and not getting to Utah to see her. So, after our trip to San Diego, David and I flew to Salt Lake to see my family. It was a great week and I'm glad I was able to see so many people. With these twins coming I know my trips to Utah will be far and few between.

David loved Uncle Andrew! He sat on his lap for hours at a time reading
books and watching movies on his phone.

Mer- It was so good to see you at the Zoo! So cool that we were there on the same day while visiting from out of town. I'm just catching up on blogs (I've taken a hiatus from my own and others and hoping to make amends). I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. He sounded like an amazing man. I hope you're all doing well.
