Dan used his charm (ahem ID badge) and was able to get us out on Nancy Pelosi's balcony. I can't stand the lady, but her office balcony has the best view of DC you could ask for.

Four things:
1) I am really jealous that you got to hang out with Mark and the Smiths.
2) You don't like Nancy Pelosi? What's not to like? She is like a cuddly little chihuahua.
3) I hope we can make it to DC while we all still live in the East. It would be super fun to see everyone. Maybe we can convince you guys and the Smith's to come to Manhattan next Spring/Summer and we can meet there.
4) Does Dan know that you are posting things on people's blogs about being baby hungry?
