Pregnant Sisters

My sister is going to kill me for posting a picture of her on my blog the day
before she is going in to have her baby.

Noelle is pregnant with her 2nd child and it has been so fun to be pregnant together. She has been a life saver when I've had questions about pregnancy in general, car seats, diaper bags, etc, and I appreciate her advice she has given to me.

I had somebody at church yesterday ask me when I was due. I told her not until May and she said, "oh honey, your baby is not going to wait until May to get here. You are HUGE". I wanted to slap her in the face. Why do some people feel it is their place to make me feel like a beached whale...I already feel that way and don't need some stranger reiterating the fact.

I have had similar experiences at church, and elsewhere. Don't worry! You are NOT anywhere near huge!!

I know what you mean. I had some grumpy old man basically tell me I was an idiot for having #2....

You look AWESOME!!

I think that's their lame attempt to let you know that you're not going to have to be pregnant for the full 10 months...40 weeks. It was a commpliment. She's referring to the Liebling, no you.

Just wait until complete strangers try and pet your stomach like you are some petting zoo. Some people, I swear.

Ugh. Totally rude comment. If she touched your belly - you would have had every right to punch her lights out. You and Noelle look darling, by the way.

Cute picture of you two. When people used to tell me how huge I was, I figured out that if I made fun of myself first, then it made them feel bad. For example: "Holy crap, could my stomach be any bigger? And I still have 8 weeks left. I think I am growing a sumo wrestler." Then they would tell me I looked good...reverse psychology. But really, people have some nerve!

Get used to those awful comments. I was told by many the I was in no way having one baby...there had to be 2 in there! Nice! I think you look adorable!

I got so many comments about my size! Even when they found out I was having twins, people felt it was necessary to make me feel like I was too big. Anyway, you look great...I don't know what that lady was thinking.

Well I think you two look adorable! I'm glad you were able to be pregnant at the same time as your sister! That had to have been a blast!

Can't wait to see you!!!!!! Don't worry, I won't touch your tummy. Hee hee!

I have a pretty good guess of who that person at church might have been. :) And you don't have anything to worry about, you look fantastic! It certainly is nice to be pregnant with someone you know so you can swap stories, stretch marks, advice, etc. Good luck, sista.

You don't look huge - you look amazing! It's so fun seeing your little prego belly popping out now. Oh - and those 3D pics are awesome! I can't wait to see him in person! :)

Somebody once asked me if I was expecting twins. I laughed and told her, "No, I'm only 6 months pregnant with one." When I got home I threw out the shirt I'd worn to work because it, in my opinion, made me look huge. These people have never been pregnant before or have forgotten about the word "tact."
