A stylish, modest swimsuit...is there such a thing?
I am in the market for a new swimsuit. Once again Dan and I are heading down to the Outer Banks, NC for Memorial Day and I don't have a swimsuit. Let me rephrase that, I don't have a swimsuit that looks good on my body anymore. There is no way in hades I am going to be seen in one of my bikinis that I used to wear. Years ago I could have gotten away with it, but not so much anymore, no siree!

That was not a good picture to look at while eating breakfast! Have you looked at modbe? You can only buy stuff online, but they have really cute stuff. Or Shade. I like Modbe better though. Target always has some good tankinis. Where are you going? I will be jealous!
I adopted my new dog Coconut from the owner of Modbe. She lives here in Orem. They have great stuff. check them out. (also, Nordstrom sometimes has great suits but they are really pricey)

Oh my, that picture is tragically disgusting. My favorite swimsuit of all time is from Land's End. I'm in the market for a new one (bigger size...ok, so I haven't lost the baby weight I so seriously need to) and will shop online there again for sure. I have the black tankini right now and love, love it (it hides my belly and the top doesn't fly or float up).

Hilarious post! So, Modbe has some cute and modest ones...my friend is a "dealer". I've never bought one, but I've seen them online and I'd probably get one or two if I were in the market. Good luck! (Like you really have anything to worry about though...please).

Land's End has awesome swimsuits for whatever you want to enhance or down play. I am with you though, I can never find the right swim suit (or swim costume as they say here) and I ain't doin' the bikini thing anymore!
Just find a nude beach and embrace your body. That's my sound advice.

Hey Racker, not that modbe isn't cool or anything..because it is...but victoria's secret has some cute one piece suits. Some are stripper like but they have a couple of cute one's as well. Worth checking out.

I just got the Shade clothing catalog for Spring and I really liked their new suits they have. Plus, compared to the other places like Layers and Modbe, they are way cheaper in price (but not in quality, several friends have Shade suits and love them). Anyway, the website is shadeclothing.com.
